HPR 2232 - Water Safety Instructor 2 Credits
Techniques of aquatic instruction, including community water safety and progression swimming, are covered in this class.
Prerequisite: Proficient swimming skills Corequisite: None Prerequisite/Corequisite: None
2 Hours Lecture Note: The student must be at least 16 years of age and possess proficient swimming skills to include the front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke and breaststroke. American Red Cross certification is possible. This class teaches the student to be a swimming instructor. Swimsuit and fee required.
