HPR 1613 - Physical Education and Elementary School

A study of the growth and development of children including their interests and tendencies. Educational and physical education philosophy and objectives are stressed, as well as methods of teaching. Emphasis is placed on a conceptual approach based on mechanical laws and related concepts which results in a program of physical education presented in sequential progressive problem-solving situations.
